Stupid Coleman doesn't make any short Xtreme coolers

That flat stackable cooler is nifty and cheap, and based on your last reply, it may be suitable for your needs (though you mentioned Texas heat).

Personally, I wanted something:
  • More insulated (even up here in relatively temperate Massachusetts)
  • Tall enough to hold 1 liter refillable bottles upright
I went with a [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Polar-Bear-Coolers-Pack-Cooler/dp/B003KU02KU"]Polar Bear 12[/ame].

It wasn't cheap ($44), but is easy to pack and carry, easily fits in the FT86 trunk (along with other gear), and is rated to keep ice in 100 degree temps for 24 hours (and food hot up to 200 degrees for hours).
