Was going to go in on him for that post. But I won't bother since you said it far more eloquently than I could have.
Both trannys are a good choice. Having driven both, the only thing I wish I could do with my auto is kick the back end out a bit easier, but that doesn't make a lick of a difference for 99% of the driving I do. Sometimes I wish I had a third pedal, but at the end of the day, I'm content with my flappy paddled slush box and ain't shook about what random people online say about it.
