If you read the whole thing you would have noticed my homage to this concept.. Same reason power steering was invented. Conveniences. The problem is that cars are going to become so convenient that we will be able to just plop down in them and think about where we want to go and the car will take us there. While this idea is cool it will probably end up killing off the cars that a lot of us love to drive. The FR-S of 2025 will probably drive itself spiritedly and everyone will want one..
