True manual is dying and its dying pretty fast.
Autos now are more efficient, shift faster, still allow manual input of gear selection, and in most cases perform better than a standard gated manual.
Alfa 4c = Auto
Jaguar F-Type = Auto
Nissan GT-R = DCT = Auto
Ferrari 458 = DCT = Auto
LaFerrari = DCT = Auto
Corvette C7 z06 = Manual or Auto, but the auto is faster
Koenigsegg Agera - DCT = Auto
All new McLarens = DCT = Auto
I am sensing a pattern here, not sure what it is though...
If pushing the clutch and shifting gears makes you feel like a superior person then by all means go for it, but nobody really cares.
As for the purpose of the thread before people with no valid or constructive opinions get involved, you probably have close to 180-185HP and will only hit 200 once you go E85. Nice build though and glad you are doing what you want with the car, that is what it is designed for.

This is the trend of new cars unfortunately.. Slowly breaking down the connection between man and machine. Becoming almost video game like. Electric steering.. Electronic gas pedals.. ABS.. Traction control.. Autotragics (with or without DCT).. Electronic torque sensing diffs.. Point being is we are slowly being disconnected from all of the mechanical portions of a car. Soon we wont even drive our own cars if google has there way. It is the principle behind a manual transmission that makes it special. The idea that you are doing it yourself and that you dont need help. Manuals separate the men from the boys in the driving world and if we lose the manual altogether then it will become a lost art. Drivers of the future who do not get to experience a manual will be forever hindered as there is a lot to learn from driving a car whilst having to manage the gearbox all on your own. It takes a lot of skill hence why the majority of the population opt for an auto because it is better for the day to day grind. Same reason power steering was invented. So that we wouldnt need boat wheels to be able to turn the cars tires when it is stopped.
Moral of the story is just because all of the companies are going with autos we shouldnt just roll over and say ok.. We should stand up for the right.. nay.. The freedom to be able to drive our cars how we want to. We should be able to co exist with automatics that way everyone can be happy. The auto industry is just full of cheap old geezers that care more about profits than the cars they make. Just think if the FR-S came with auto only even if it was a DCT.. There would have been rioting in the streets. The only reason the other cars get away with it is because they are so niche and are very unobtainable by 95% of the population of the world. Hence why most people "dont care" which in the grand scheme of things isnt good. People should care about choices because sooner or later we wont have any choices. All cars will ship with the same options and come in 3 different colors.. White, Silver, and beige..

There are few who manage to do this. You probably dont know anyone with the dedication or drive to own this many cars but I do and it is more than doable at a young age. Hell I am 23 and I have been through 9 cars since I started driving and I still own 3 of them. The only reason my tirade stopped was because I bought the FRS. For every 2 months of owning this car I could go out and buy another car.. That equates to a lot of cars over the course of a 5 year loan. Hell I know this kid who went to a high school I work at and he is already up to 22 cars and he is only 19.. Every other day he is hauling something new home on the trailer. And he is not rich by any means. He is just damned determined to go get all of these cars.
Anyways moral of that story is try not to be ignorant about things that you havent had experience with. There are so many damn people in this world that just about anything is possible.
