I went to JRP as recommended and they seemed confident this was a good setup, and that the other wheels would have rubbing issues, but it's always nice to hear opinions.

You should be perfectly fine. I'm running 17x9 + 40 with 255/40/17.
I had to roll the front a bit and the trim the rear bumper tab a little. I'm lowered on coilovers.
