And the Japanese one where the father and son fight but sort of make up over the car. That one kind of hit home for me.
But this Scion ad just seems to play off one very simplistic emotion: envy. The other dude seems surprised when he sees him in the car, asks him about it and is impressed by it. Making people jealous/envious of me and/or my car is not really my goal. Especially when it's other guys.
