yes i can read. i know he is on 18's.

this thread is not for people that want to stick within the stock diameters.

a 235/35 is going to be stretched and have small sidewall. 245/40 is the more appropriate tire to run on an 8.5' rim in order to be "square". this is not a discussion about what will be closest to OEM specs. this is a thread for people who want to run appropriate tire sizes on wide wheels. 265's on a 9.5 etc etc.

here is 245/40 on an 18x8.75. a 235/35 would have been a rubber band in my mind. notice how it has an ever so slight stretch with a 245. this car is on eibach pro kit only. no fender mods, no rubs no issues.



also you will notice that the thread title is meaty tire thread. so 255+ would be meaty, everything else is just normal.
