Get over it. If ANY one thought Pacquiao was going to win, you were just living a pipe dream.
Honestly if you thought Manny would win a decision against Mayweather, you were high.
If you thought Manny could knock-out Mayweather you were high.
I'm not a Mayweather fan, but you have to face the facts.
-Manny doesn't have the KO power to knock-out a seasoned fighter like Mayweather.
-Mayweather threw 6 MORE punches than Manny, and landed at a higher connect %. Kind of hard to claim that Manny won a decision with those kinds of numbers to back-up the decision.
90% of you don't even follow boxing, thats why you don't understand the sport. Its called the sweet science for a reason.
Sure Manny had some great rounds and I feel that Mayweather should have had a couple point deductions for holding (holding is leagal, excessive holding is lack of activity and is subjective), BUT in boxing you win on points or Knock-Out.
Mayweather plays the point game Always has; Always will. He's 48-0 in almost 2 DECADES of professional prize fighting. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
And I laugh, you all scream "He just runs around!". IF we all know it, why do people let him do it? You don't have to chase Mayweather around.
Manny and Freddy Roach thought just like the majority of people: "Mayweather, has not fought any quality fighters. He has never fought an opponent like Pacquiao."
You are parially right, He has never fought an opponent like Pacquiao, but to think he hasn't fought quality fighters?
Anyway, the point of this rant is: You have to be un-biased when looking at boxing. It doesn't matter if someone gets dazed in round 4, it doesn't matter how hard someone got hit in round 8.
If in round 12 both fighters are still standing, round 4 and round 8 is only 2 points out of 12.
Use your head and not your heart.

I'm been an avid boxing fan since I was a kid, and resent the assumption that we all jumped on the bandwagon just for what was billed as "The Fight of The Century." Even the most technical fight can be entertaining, because you feel the engagements and calculations. Weighing the risks of cracking an opponents defense, and playing off the jab.
But that was not the case with this fight. Can you honestly say that if this fight happened ten years ago the pacing and enthusiasm would have been the same? Neither fighter looked like they even cared to be there if they didn't have
fat check incentives.
I definitely didn't expect PacMan to win, but would have been happy to see him in form with his usual flurries and speed. 5 years too late I guess.
I never thought MMA would overtake Boxing in popularity in America, but seeing this sad display of cash grabbing hype is starting to make me understand. We've wanted to see Mayweather v. Pacquiao for years now and it finally happened with great fanfare and no sport.
When even Iron Mike thinks the match was pitiful, you're doing something wrong.
