For sure. I was just driving the HKS FR-S for the first time in ~a month and had to back off quite a few times from what felt like the speed limit. Of course the S/C helps build momentum pretty quick in that car.

My Evo feels like you're crawling unless you're going well above any speed limit.

I went 190mph in one of HKS' GTRs at Fuji Speedway and it didn't feel like we were going half that speed. Of course the track is smooth, but the car is so confident and stable it didn't feel like it was anywhere close to the "edge."

This past week I've been driving a new 5.0L Mustang 6 spd. and it's quick, but because the chassis is less stable than what I'm used to, suspension is softer, overall heavier with a higher cg - the car doesn't exude the same confidence at speed. When I'm going fast, it feels fast and keeps me on my toes.
