The quarter panels have opening where you can tuck it inside. Just below the quarter glass in this picture.

Radium engineering makes a universal surge tank that I've seen mounted inside the pocket (with their 45 degree angled bracket.) I cannot for the life of me find the picture though. From the picture though it did look like he could of put the interior panels back in to hide it.
