2015 Brz sport-tech m/t, this is my first m/t car so perhaps I'm just clueless.

Whenever I go over a speed bump at low speed in gear (8-15kmph) the car will be in gear and I let it creep over the speed bump, as the car goes over the speed bump the vehicle will begin to rock (in the same manner it would if you drop the clutch at low revs) but 1st gear is engaged and my foot isn't on the clutch - is this a characteristic of the car or should I be doing something different?
