My friend got '15 WRX with CVT. It's a lot more refined and doesn't have much rawness. The engine sounds so much more quiet too. Even though the springs are about 50% stiffer, it still feels softer than FR-S somehow. I could feel the body roll noticeably more than FR-S when I did a hard turn while stepping on the brake. When I WOT, FR-S's excitement goes up as I rev all the way to the red line, but WRX was like excitement kind of jumps to peak at just 3k RPM and stays like that until the red line.

So, it's really what you favor. These difference can be good for certain people and bad for certain people. Some people prefer refined driving feel and some prefer raw feeling. Some people likes less bouncy ride and some likes more bouncy ride. Some people like the power to be available at any RPM and some only like it at the higher RPM. Even the practicality too; some people wants to have 5 adults to be able to ride and some only wants 2. To me, FR-S is perfect. I need the useless rear seat so that I can let my 4 year old son to sit, but it's not big enough for an adult to sit, which means I don't end up being the driver when I go out with my friends. :p

P.S. Might as well wait for '16 WRX. Premium and Limited WRX will get 18" rims and backup camera just for $300 or so more than '15. WRX is a good choice. It's a really nice car.
