I can appreciate an uncluttered steering wheel and I'm not interested in cruise control buttons on the wheel, only volume and track advance.

For me, the problem is most of the controls are accessible via touch screen (skip tracks, change stations) and the screens touch controls don't work so well or consistently. Not a good thing when you're driving.
