I think that's probably the case, but am interested in hearing others' setups and experiences, too. I've noticed this previously after other events, but I don't remember it being to this degree. Thanks for the response, Mike.
Oh, and I live in Denver, drive 20,000+ miles per year, ski a lot and use this as my only car. Unfortunately some of the solutions you guys implement (track pads all the time, etc.) just don't work for my situation. I wish they did, though.

It sure would make things easier.
