I did not downgrade to a Scion tC, I owned the tC BEFORE owning the Z. Sold the Z after 3yrs of owning it and modded what I could without destroying the bank account. Would have loved twin turbos, but as mentioned, the amount of work involved just to install a TT setup would set you back $10k+ and that's just on a stock motor. Then there is the transmission. It was not until 2006 that the 350z had a decent trans to handle any abuse.
I have two son's 3yrs and 1yrs old. Needed a 4 door 4seater (the lady wanted a Crossover, so we got an FX35).
If you want vids of modded tC's then ask. Everything from 9, 10, 11sec 1/4 mile tC's, to 600+whp dynos, to passing R35 GTR's at the track can be found.
It's rather absurd to think that Ricers don't exist in every Tuner community.
