bee-jay got it right. Less sound deadening will make it more noticeable than, say, a BMW.
The only quieter one is the Q300, which sounds almost stock at low levels.
You're right that the TRD is quieter at highway levels, this is natural. I'd say give it some time. After a few months with my TRD exhaust, I grew used to it and now want a header-back system to boost the sound up a little more (along with power of course).
