I, and most of the potential buyers of this car, don't want to have to mod it as soon as we buy it.

I don't want to have to spend $10k on a new car to not hate it when I drive it. Even though I too plan to mod it in the future.

Do you get what I am saying? As in, I don't want a car to suck so bad off the showroom floor that I feel compelled to spend a ton of money so I don't hate driving it.

More clear?

I don't have a problem with that. What I have a problem with, is you assuming that applies to me, when it doesn't.

What's your ultimate 'performance' options list? No engine, but it comes with a TIG welder, and some DOM tubing? I guess I'm not a real enthusiast like you are. How about this, Dragonitti? Toyota sells you a bunch of steel tubing (with Scion stickers on it) and some Locost plans for your next car?

The funny thing is that the guys defending Scion before you jumped in were basically saying that you and other performance oriented Scion lovers are the absolute minority when it comes to the brand. And that performance is irrelevant to their marketing.

It's funny enough that I can imagine hearing Oneday laughing hysterically at me as I continue to bang my head against this wall...

I won't hate it when I drive it stock no more than I hated my 350z and no more than I hated my tC when they were stock. So, it's all good. I think we are beating the bush now about the topic, so I'll just respectfully agree to disagree because I don't think unless you have walked in my shoes will you ever come to an understanding of my views on cars.
