weird i missed this thread..
I have a wife and kid and planning on a 2nd one in a year. This however does not change my plans on a purchase of a BRZ.
You see if you have the commitment and stability, and to know that your going to have a family soon. And get the things you want. You have to plan for it!
The wife and I are set on a sports car, and the BRZ was the best fit for us since the announcement in 2009. Initially we planned on spending 25k out the door total when we predicted a 20k price tag in 2010. But 29-32k out the door only delays our purchase for several months.
we currently have 3 cars, 2002 Toyota Corolla, 2003 Subaru Legacy Wagon, 88 Rx7 TII. We will be adding the BRZ to our fleet and keep it at 4 cars max. The Toyota Corolla will eventually be replace with a another compact eco commuter, and the legacy will be replaced eventually with a Crossover SUV like the current Legacy.
