You typically have to give it a minute to idle or you mess up the throttle response. Otherwise, reflash the tune you want (no need to go stock first) then turn on ignition (no start) hit gas 20 times in quick succession, turn off ignition, turn on again (no start), hit gas 20 times again, then start ignition.

After flashing I turned the car on for 3 minutes or so and just let it idle, never touched the gas
