That may have felt fast, but it probably wasn't. I did the same thing in my 01 2.5RS and it took a long time to unlearn those bad habbits. Setting up the corner (entry, apex, & exit) and looking ahead will make you considerably faster.

But, drifting really isn't racing. A sport with judges that pick the winner, just isn't racing. It is more about ability, technique and control. It is like figure skating or diving in that sense (no insult to drifting intended).
