With out looking at their instructions its hard to pinpoint the exact cause, their mod looks similar to ours, but missing the winjet pins from what i can see in the pictures, and im not sure how they keep the system back feeding in to itself with the diode placement. our leads are attached together so that the parking light circuit is not feeding back into the DRL circuit and the other way around. We use over sized Diodes to make sure they last, along with top quality heat shrink and then another piece of adhesive heatshrink to keep it all together instead of having the joint support everything. Also our crimps when we sell individually are heat shrunk type also to prevent corrosion and a better seal. Our prices went up due to the cost of materials going up. when i install myself i solder everything so there are no crimps or taps. we also provide Winjet pins to properly fit the plug so you are not tapping another circuit for power allowing for corrosion and a weaker contact.

Im not saying what these guys are selling is wrong, just a cheaper easier way to make the same product. We could probably pump these out for 20-30 bucks, but to me its just not worth the time, when we originally took my design to a shop i know, that designs and manufactures electrical components they told us 90$ each for a batch of 100. Built to my design since it works, there are many ways to make the same circuit, this is a more of an old fashion way, but its solid with components that should last longer then the life of your headlight and car. If you would like to pm us or email us the wire diagram, then ill see if i can find out the missing link and tell you if you can fix it using their product.
