There is no issues with the factory units. Bushings may dry out and tear. I consider that a consumable. When you start to have trouble with that the rest of the car will have bigger issues. eg. rust
Its all just bling. There are some stiffer units that can increase feel. They tend to be heavier and overbuilt.
