Just a heads-up, Works Bell doesnt seem to provide the resistor for the black terminals coming off of the airbag. I installed the 540 tonight and immediately got an airbag light. Heading to Fry's to get the parts to make it on my own. Also, i had to cut-off the tabs on horn of my Sabelt wheel to make it fit. Not sure if those with by the "Short" version had these issues, as i chose the regular size.
Side tip, no where in my japanese instructions did i see a picture for repinning the harness coming off the cruise control. I opted to keep mine so i dont lose the option to switch maps with my ecutek tune. Flip over the supplied harness (has two red wires), take a micro-flathead and pop-up the clip. This clip is what keeps the pins in. Remove the two red wires from the harness and set aside. Proceed to do the same off the OEM harness, remove ONLY the blue wire. Feed the red wires to the corresponding locations from the supplied harness. One red wire will replace the blue one you removed, and the other will go on the opposite end. Snap the clip back in and give the wires a gentle tug to make sure they're secure.
Plug the harness back in and feed the wires per instructions. I ghetto rigged the cruise control stalk onto the backside of the hub for now, need to fab a better piece to make it clean.
