The AD08s are a nice tire. They seem to rate nearly the same as the Z1*. However the Z1* is noticeably cheaper than the AD08. It would come down to appearance, and I'm not sure the Yoko's design is worth $80 to me..

The AD08s have better steering response and feel IMO. I have both on different wheels for the ITR right now but I'm planning on moving the star specs to the car I'm selling. I'm also getting more life (so far anyways) out of the AD08s.
Star specs are the sh#t for Chumpcar though
