Lowering springs recommendations??

I have dealt with a stock car long enough and it is time to start doing things little by little.
I have always dumped money into my cars, but am not wanting to go that route this time with the FRS. Wanting to keep it very simple.
Looking at lowering springs and I thought my mind was made up on getting TRD springs, but now I am unsure if I will really be happy with the drop (as I have read reviews that mention around .5-1" drop). Coilovers are not an option as, like I said, I'd rather keep this a very simple-modded car (unlike my past cars).

This car is basically my daily driver, I do want a comfortable ride, however I am ok with a somewhat stiff ride (like how stock is). I do plan to track (HPDE) this car, but most likely maybe 2 weekends per year… so not much at all.

I know I can't always "have the cake and eat it too"… but I would like to be as close to "having it all" as possible.

I do plan to bump up to a 17x9 ET~35-40 with 255/40/17 tires.

For a visual, this is ideally how i'd like my car to be sitting.

(yes, I know that car is on coilovers… but being that it is not an aggressive drop, maybe there is a good spring that can get me to that height and still provide me with a good ride and great handling for track/spirited driving)

Any input/recommendations as to what springs to go with to accomplish my goals?
