Interesting - is that strictly a function of the mechanical bits wearing out? The one I am about to own has a very light one but has barely any mileage on it (< 40,400 miles) so I can't say.

The BRZ I test drove had a stiffer pedal in my opinion but then again, it had 6 miles on the odometer (dealer let me 'test drive' it).
