I could shave that gain and more by going with RS3 tires, but I want the crisper turn-in that the tires with heavier sidewalls provide (Z1* spec most likely).
So I'm thinking 17x8+45 Enkei PF01 or TSW Nurburgring, both are around 17.5lbs.
I'd love to go with the super light Enkei RPF1 or OZ Racing Alleggerita, but I just don't like how either look.

LOL that's where I was. Now I'm back to 215/45/17s with AD08s to try first, then if I still want more grip I'd go 235. IMO 235/40s would be better on 9" wheels, but those are a bit hard to find.. 6ULRs I guess... ugly arse wheel though IMO.
Since I'm going WRB I think I might be able to pull off gold RPF1s.. otherwise I agree they aren't awesome looking so I'd either go with black RPF1s or some PF01s.
I like the Alleggerita look but the price (of the HLTs anyways) is a bit too steep IMO.
The Ultraleggeras might not look too bad on the car either.
Too bad the Kosei K4Rs are only avail in 17x7 (according to TR).
