Well I finally got my Skunk2 CAI and Ohlins coilovers installed this weekend.

Front bumper removal is not something I want to do often. So now the car seems more responsive to the throttle, but really it's hard to tell the difference since I haven't driven the car since November-December. Besides in near zero temperature there is a bit more power available anyway. I do feel a difference in the mid-range and the high-end.

As for the coilovers I set the preload and height according to the manufacturer's specs. The suspension will be set to 20mm lower than stock as recommended by Ohlins when I get a corner balance. For my test drive I set the coilover 12 clicks back from full stiff. The car rides comfortably on undulating pavement, but the sharp bumps on Hunt Club made the car way too jarring and bouncy. Ohlins recommends a softer setting for the street - anywhere above 18 clicks back from full stiff.

Time for a well earned refreshment.
