I am prepared to be underwhelmed when the official press is released. It looks like they will be offering brakes, wheels, seats, suspension, lip spoiler and some side skirts. I'd bet everything else you see is 'concept'.

Why would Subaru offer aftermarket replacement bumpers and fenders? There is no way they could compete economically with the after-market.

If Subaru were serious about developing this car for performance parts we'd have seen an equivalent to the TRD Griffon already.

I hope I'm wrong.
Keep in mind TRD made a widebody kit for the Supra back in the day, so it's not so far fetched to think that STI could as well.

The Recaro seats are available in Japan. They're impossible to ship here because of the airbag (explosive), just like the tS's steering wheel airbag.

And I know if they made a 5000 car run of a legitimate turbo BRZ with upgraded suspension and brakes and all the bells and whistles, they'd be sold before they hit the showrooms. And the worst part is that they already have all the parts from their various other cars, so they wouldn't even be reinventing the wheel.
Won't happen. Much like when GM came down on Pontiac and stopped them from producing a car that would have been faster than the Corvette. They won't allow a car that's faster than the WRX STi.
