What I've read about XXRs for the 86 over the years is this:

1. They're not really heavy in comparison to other cast wheels.
2. They're strong enough for daily driver road use
3. The paint has chipped with certain colors and models
4. The offsets and widths tend to look nice on the car e.g. 17x8.25 et35
5. The price is low in the U.S.
6. They tend to have dual drilled stud patterns, but some have gotten single drilled by contacting their vendor directly.
7. There are very few true "original" designs these days with wheels. People sometimes think they know an original wheel designer/mfg, but that ends up being a knock-off too. This is a very deep hole with little objectivity in the argument. Do what you like with it.
