If you smoosh the bolster every time you get in (or out) you're going to get wrinkles.


The cloth bolster in my FR-S shows wear lines where the PO rubbed against it when he got in and out.

I was seriously anal about my pristine 91MR2 turbo (OEM leather)


When exiting, I would slide the seat all the way to the back, and move the steering wheel to the full-up position, then slide forward so I could avoid sliding over the bolster/seat edge.


Even after 12 years and 60K, there was no noticeable wear on the bolster.
