You may have had success ordering cars but I had one dealership actually do it, probably talked to ~20-30 dealerships that either blew me off or flat out refused to get me the car I wanted.
I don't think I was difficult, I didn't require a specific color or anything, I didn't bitch about a discount I was perfectly happy to pay MSRP for a bone stock car with no add ons.
Bleh, I'm honestly really hoping I never have to buy a new car again. I am a millennial who does not want to buy a new car and it is solely due to the dealership experience.

Opposite? Sounds like they wanted to get you into any car that wasn't their showroom demo car. They had cars on the lot they wanted to sell you right?
