and as far as aftermarket stuff...if it fits one it will fit the other. minus items involving the front bumper.

Yes, there have been many reports of Subaru mark-up's. And you pointed out what I meant. The FR-S and BRZ are VERY similar yes, but they do have quite a few cosmetic differences. And a lot of the reports on modifications both cosmetically and mechanically have been mostly on the FR-S. The reason? I'm not sure, but it's fact.
