If you want to run spacers, you'll need extended length studs. Those are a good idea anyway, the stock studs are soft and you'll probably cross thread them if you change tires often enough.

The sidewall is going to flex differently, but they're going to be round and hold air and provide enough grip to put you at the pointy end of the field.
