I don't want the oil pressure dummy light to be on all the time on my dash.

On the WRX the stock oil pressure dash light switch is a normally closed grounding switch that opens and breaks the ground when it senses 2.5 psi of oil pressure. Does anyone know if the FA uses the same type of switch?

This document is what gave me the idea
You can toss the stock oil pressure sensor and just tuck away the stock sender line. No need to ground it at all. I tossed mine and tucked the wire, installed a real pressure gauge in the same spot (off a tee, since it's also my turbo feed) with no problems and no nanny lights
