Do you know the difference between a worn out oil filled stock strut and a street coilover that needs servicing?

Here's some insight for starters, this advice while lacking citations is sound and you'll find that it corraborates advice on struts in general: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...01&postcount=4

Also, that "80,000 miles" business is not with your lowering springs taken into consideration. Additionally, while that strut may not blow until 80k miles, you sure as hell would want to replace it long before that if performances means anything to you.

By the way, coilovers ARE struts.
Ummm the Eibach Pro kit is nowhere near as aggressive abuse on stock struts as you think. I understand that sportline is a strut killer for obvious reasons and yes I know that a coilover is a strut but coilovers are designed to be more aggressive vs a OEM setup. Furthermore you have to spend upwards of $1500 for a top brand and still worry about rebuilding it frequently? No thanks. I just need a nice DD setup and speaking of which the roads in GA is horrible which gives the coilover another negative.
