I love these AT vs MT threads especially when they're started by trolls who never show up again.

If I could afford it, I'd own one of each. I love my auto for everything it is as far as the speed and technology around the track. The only thing I miss is coasting in daily driving- you're always in gear unless you slip back and forth between Drive and Neutral. But that doesn't work well for me since I spend most of my time in manual mode. The move to neutral just isn't smooth from the manual position. For this reason only I wish I had a clutch.

I'm looking into the possibility of rewiring the paddles to make a pull-and-hold of both paddles slip into neutral until they are released. I haven't researched it enough to know if there is a mechanical requirement - it's just been a random thought so far.
