New generations look so horrid. Even the GR/V gens retained a small ounce of flavor.. albeit they looked a little too mazdaspeed3ish

"Quick in a straight line".. uhh bud all gen WRXes are average or slow in the straights, all things considered and relative to other sport offerings in that price range.

totopo so eloquently pointed out, it's a different kind of drive and if you can tune out some of the understeer, AWD will smash the RWD on most track configurations, apples to apples, all else equal
