Not everybody has the aptitude, tools, resources, space or desire to work on their car. I for example have the aptitude but zero tools (if it can't be done with vice grips and a hammer I am screwed) nor a space to store the required equipment or to do the work so anything beyond the very basics will have to be done elsewhere. This means that I have to pay to have such work done (money I do have) as much as I would enjoy doing it myself.
@spatcha88 I have no clue as to costs in the States but sounds like a good deal if you were having it done here in Canada.
