I started a thread about "Roads worthy of a Vacation" in the "Off Topic Lounge" looking for good twisty roads in the US. That being said, I find that there are a few good roads spread out around the Metro, but I prefer going across the river, spending a day riding or driving (more driving these days) and stopping for lunch somewhere.
