@llawd I like the CONCEPT/PROTOTYPE (for other forum members who missed that in the OP).

What would be even better is if it is thin enough to stay in place when the back seat is up, but given the way the back seats release from the trunk that might be difficult.

I would love to be able to do this when carrying Luna (our Newfoundland) around in my car. She curls up great on top of the seat when its down but "slides" into the trunk so she has to ride more uncomfortably with the seat up.

I may have to break out the cardboard and figure this out myself.
