Many do not seem to understand the way most modern autos work.
Even my wife's Mitsu RVR with the CVT comes alive when I use the paddle shifters. In fact it is the only way I can drive the thing as the CVT coupled to the small engine just bites the big one otherwise. Jump on those paddles though and it is like a radically different vehicle.
I got mine in MT more out of habit then any "MT rules bruuuuh" mentality. Wait until some of you guys have been driving MT for 40 years and you learn that it isn't really "fun" anymore because your body just does it without even any thought. For all I notice my shifting anymore I may as well be driving an AT.
