You beat me to it. While it isn't going to be spooled up by 1500 rpm, it will be spooled up within any normal driving if you have a standard. I haven't driven the auto, but from what I've read that will drop down to 1500 rpm, so I don't think there's any helping those. Maybe a crawford kit.
