It's cool. I just got a little antsy because my first car was a homologation fwd "rally special". An Australia rally championship (F2) winner might I add.



Either way, fwd & rwd cars were a staple of rallying way before awd appeared, and fwd cars made by marquees such as Mini & Abarth won many a rally before Audi showed up to the party with 4wd in 1980 (a good 80 yrs or so into the sport? )
