Totally agree that the FRS is a niche car but comparing it too the others and saying they are better "end of story" is doing exactly what you are pissed at others about. Apply your own opinion to anything you want but if you are going to say your opinion is the only right one then stop shooting off you mouth that others feel the same way about theirs.
There are better cars and there are worse cars and opinions on them vary that does not make it "brain washing". Just because some people get a tad overzealous about their cars does not deem you their superior and allow you to pass judgement on them.
I may spend some quality time and go back through the forum and find at what point you became a bitter, disillusioned, anti Twin spokesman.

Not to sort of defend the guy, but despite coming across as a jaded and elitist douchenozzle (I guess that's the opposite of defending) in how he words some of his posts, he does make some valid points. While I adore and am perfectly happy with my BRZ; If you're obsessed with numbers, there are quicker cars in the same price bracket. If you need room for stuff, there are more practical cars in the same price bracket. There are groups of people who go way over-the-top to justify their purchase of a Twin as opposed to something else, and just as many people who go out of their way to call the first group fools.
I would say the real issue is trying to claim that any car is universally better than another car for everyone. Personally, I place a higher value on making sure what I drive does what I need it to do while making me smile in the process. Which I guess is the same point you were making, so maybe I just wanted to type douchenozzle. I already said my bit between these two cars a few pages back, so it's probably the latter.
