Both boomerangs and drl strips turn on and stay on when the headlights are on and the drl strips work when i dim them. Its like this module pretty much does the opposite of turning the boomerangs and drl strips into drl lights and disabling them completely.
Emailed diode dynamics and all they told me is that there are no lights on when the headlights are off.  |
i have first hand experience with a faulty always-on unit
FIRST, without the always-on unit
your lower DRL should light up when the car is in daylight and E-brake not engaged
your lower DRL goes away and top boomerang and headlight goes on
at night time.
2nd, WITH the always-on unit
during the day, your lower and upper DRL should be on with E-brake not engaged
at NIGHT time your headlight and upper and lower DRL should be on
if not contact Diode dynamic for help..
they sent me a new unit as soon as they made them.
