I'll be honest I'm a complete n00b when it comes to wheels, so I was trying to keep the same width and diameter as stock just to keep things simple and avoid having to buy new tyres too (especially as I only just bought some 2 weeks ago).
Could I go a little wider than stock (7.5 or 8 inch width) and keep the same tyres (215/45/17) ? If so then that makes things a lot easier as I can find plenty of wheels that with a combination of their offset and the extra width would give me what I want
