Well I'm unsure of others experiences when switching from e85 to 91/93, but I had very high fuel trims (18% ish) due to the high ethanol content so I know the tune doesn't adjust to the ethanol content. I had about 2 gallons of e85 left in the tank when switching.
It's more or less peace of mind. Once I kept adding 91 to my tank my fuel trims slowly crept down.
