I have ALWAYS adjusted my mirrors to see the edge of my car. It gives you a frame of reference to other objects whereas just tipping the mirror out to where you cannot see the car, you have not frame of reference to know where the mirror is actually pointing.
And - I back my car into my driveway about 4 times a day.
So how do you back your car up using mirrors if you cant see your fender?
