Please don't use a screwdriver... If you need to ghetto it, make a sleeve that fits over the line you can push into the connector out of plastic from a milk carton (cut, fold it over and wrap it around the line and push in) or something. You are just trying to push the tabs back on the inside of the sleeve.
Finally the lights came on..You and King Tut were correct of course..thanks
